Caritas

Since 1991, since the emergence of the Catholic community, a group of volunteer parishioners began to do charity work: visiting at home single and sick; collecting clothes and distributing it among those in need; helping large families and disabled people with food, medicines, etc; visits to hospitals and boarding schools, assistance to orphans; device of Easter and Christmas holidays for children.

Officially, the Caritas Parish in Bordentown began its work in 1994.

Currently, the priority areas of its activity, “Caritas” of the parish considers:

1) a program to help abandoned children;
2) assistance to the department of nursing care;
3) Sunday club;
4) volunteer program;
5) women's support center.

Volunteer program

From the first days of work, Caritas focused on identifying and attracting volunteer volunteers. Many of the volunteers work in parallel in several programs.

Sunday club

The Sunday Club operates at the temple on Sundays and holidays. Parishioners and guests can chat over a cup of tea, listen to messages and conversations, and in a relaxed atmosphere talk with the head priest, priests and guests. Thanksgiving competitions are also held here, funeral feasts are held, birthdays and anniversaries of our parishioners are celebrated.
